About Desiree

I'd describe my personality as bright, caring, and loyal! I enjoy working with kids because I truly love seeing how they grow, learn, and develop in connection to the world around them. Not to mention, the adventure never seems to stop! I'm looking for a job that allows me to work with a family I truly care about. Having a genuine connection with the children but also understanding and comfortability with the parents is crucial to what I'm searching for. I started working with kids when I was a teenager, babysitting for neighbors and for family members. After, I spent a year working in a licensed preschool and another year and a half nannying for families in my community. In my spare time I love spending time with my loved ones! Personal hobbies of mine include water painting, reading, and cooking! My skills include the ability to mediate emotions, incite playing/hands on learning, and the ability to establish a secure and organized environment for a child.
