Desiree (or "Desi" as my son says) has been with us for 2 years. It was an easy decision to have her care for our son, who fell asleep in her arms during the interview. When I reflect back on why we chose Desiree, I'm reminded of what makes her so special. She is an incredibly warm, nurturing and giving caretaker. She is very attentive and I was comfortable knowing our son was in good hands. She provided him with love, attention, guidance and safety. She was continuously engaged as he grew and looked for ways to foster his development. She provided him with the structure, space and creative freedom that we wanted for him. She was teaching him Spanish and spent time reading, playing alongside, going outside (walks, garden adventures and library visits) and has the most beautiful singing voice (that we all love). She is a natural and our son adores her. Desiree has made a huge impact in our son's life and any family would be fortunate to have her in their lives.
