About Desiree

My name is Desiree and I've been a caregiver for around 5 years. I used to live on the east cost but I moved to LA in 2019. I like caring for seniors because I like engaging with those in the elderly community and providing compassionate care and support. I enjoy work environments where there is open and clear communication. It helps improve the quality of my care and also makes me feel confident that I know what's expected of me and what the client needs. I started caring for seniors when I worked at a summer camp for the visually impaired. Most of our residents were seniors and I had so much fun with them over the course of the summer! I felt a sense of fulfillment being connected to others and able to make a meaningful contribution to seniors. In my spare time, I like to write poetry , I like to bake cheesecakes, and I like to walk by the beach especially around Point Vicente where the views of the cliffs are breathtaking!
