I have several experiences with young children. As a youth in my home church, I was independently responsible for groups of children in both the 0-2 age range (nursery class) and at times, the larger adolescent class (usually between three and eight children) with ages between 3 and 5 years old. I was a regular part-time babysitter for a family with an adopted child from a foreign country for two years. I also babysat regularly for two families in my community, one with a boy and a girl (ages 8 and 6), and another with three boys (ages 9, 6, and 2). I have my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (grades 7-12), so I am comfortable interacting with older children as well. I worked full time as a nanny from for a family with three children (twins aged 18 months and their older sibling aged 2 at the start of employment.
