About Desirea

For the past 20 years, I've been privileged to nurture children's growth and positively impact their lives, supporting families by providing reliable care. My college degree, combined with Early Child development coursework, has equipped me to care for children of all ages. I am also a mother to 2 (17 & 23) and a stepmother to 2 (24 & 28), so I have plenty of personal experience child rearing and running a busy home. I am creative, resourceful, friendly, kind, empathetic and still comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I'm happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, crafts, and swimming supervision. I communicate with parents verbally at pickup, and I always follow their preferred method. I have a car, I'm comfortable with pets, I am a non-smoker who also does not consume any alcohol. I'm eager to bring my love for children and home to support your family now that mine are all grown up.
