About Desarie

Hi! My name is Desarie, and I am an experienced childcare professional with several years of experience caring for children from infancy through age 17. I have worked with children in private homes, schools, and educational settings, including experience as a nanny/sitter, Teacher Assistant, and Camp Leader. I have experience caring for multiple children at once and supporting families with everything from daily routines, meal preparation and light cooking to children's laundry, potty training, homework, playtime, outdoor activities, events, and age-appropriate outings. I'm also comfortable with pets and have experience working early mornings, evenings, and overnight care. My background in education has given me experience supporting children academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. I especially enjoy creating fun activities, encouraging independence, helping with schoolwork, and providing children with a safe and comfortable environment where they can be themselves.
