I have worked with children for 20 years. I currently work part-time as a gymnastics coach. Prior to this position, I had nannied for a little over nine years and worked in preschool/before-and-after school programs for nine years as well. Derek is punctual, reliable, friendly and professional. An absolute "must keep" on our sitter list. He has cared for my 2yo and 7yo on a regular basis and they absolutely love him!

After a thorough interview process on both his side and mine, I hired Derek to be the nanny of my 3 children.  However, he quit 1 week before he was supposed to begin.  I'm very disappointed and upset by his lack of professionalism.  He was honest about being interviewed by other families, but he kept us on the line for literally one month.  After he accepted our offer, he changed his mind the next week, leaving me to start over only 1 week before the job would begin.  All along, Derek assured me that he is always upfront and honest, and if he didn't want to work with my family, he would say it from the beginning.   This was not the case.  He led my children on as well, asking them if they'd be alright with him being their new nanny.  They, too, are disappointed.  This whole process has been very stressful and upsetting, and I don't appreciate the way in which he handled it.

Derek is wonderful. We've used him multiple times and he is kind, caring, and dependable. Love him! 

Derek is very patient, thoughtful and responsible. He has the fun energy that my daughter loves, and he is quick to save a running toddler from a dangerous situation while watching other kids. We feel lucky to have him caring for our daughter.

He is very professional and great with all three of my girls. He is patient, caring, and has a true love for the development of early childhood. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

Derek is very professional and courteous. He offered to drop by the day before he was scheduled to baby-sit so we could meet. He is detailed and doesn't need much instruction. Seems very experienced.

Derek is fantastic. He is punctual, is comfortable around pets, and was great with our daughters. We would absolutely hire him again.

Derek interviewed with our family for a Saturday position. He was punctual, had a resume and references available and my boys loved interacting with him. His references gave him outstanding reviews. His background check was clean. He  was hired for the position based on all of the above.
