About Derek

My name is Derek and I am a certified educator. I am passionate about helping children build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and develop a love for learning in a supportive environment. I currently hold 4 South Carolina professional certifications in: Special Education Elementary Education Early Childhood Education and Physical Education With classroom experience in both general education and special education, I understand that every child learns differently. I work with students in grades K-6 and provide individualized instruction tailored to each student's strengths and needs. Tutoring Services Include: Reading & Literacy Support Math Instruction and Homework Help I strive to make learning engaging while building the skills students need both inside and outside the classroom.
