About Deonna

I've been working with kids since the age of 7. My mother owns two 5 star daycare, and I learned how to fully change diapers, do CPR, and be a nurturer at a young age. I recently graduated from USC with an MFA in cinematic arts, but my heart always pulls me back to the love I have for childcare. I have watched a total of 6 kids at once and love using a STAR system in which kids are rewarded. While working at my mother's daycare, I worked mostly with babies, but I'm comfortable with any age. I've taught children how to read by age 2, and I believe every child deserves a bit of praise even for the smallest things. Children normally warm up to me within 15 minutes, and after I leave they want me to come back. Taking care of kids is my calling and passion.
