About Denisse

I am a certified K-12 teacher with experience working with children across a range of ages and learning levels. Prior to becoming a teacher, I also gained hands-on experience in both babysitting and tutoring, which helped me build a strong foundation in supporting children academically and socially in one-on-one and small group settings. I am currently looking for tutoring opportunities, as well as flexible summer work that may include academic support or structured childcare. I enjoy helping students build confidence in their skills, especially in math and foundational subjects, through patient, engaging, and individualized instruction. In addition to my professional and tutoring experience, I am also a parent to a toddler, which has further strengthened my understanding of child development, behavior, and learning through play. I am comfortable creating active, engaging environments and incorporating learning into everyday activities.
