About Denise

Hi! My friends call me Dino. I worked 11 years in the service dog industry. I oversaw many departments but my biggest joy was working with the service dogs in training. I 'puppy raised' three pups that went on to become a service dog. Puppy raising starts at 8 weeks till 12-16 weeks old. Early skills taught are crate training, getting their attention, teaching them to touch, not jump on others, potty training, alert barking, leash walking, proper diet and introducing them to a world of special sights, sounds and smells! In my 11 years with service dogs I worked with inmates that trained them to then be placed with one living with a disability. I witnessed where 'walls' were broken down in each as dogs served as a bridge to trust and acceptance. Dogs are amazing teachers! I offer short term dog walking, guidance to puppy training, home checks, cat care and puppy proofing your home, however, I do not do overnight sitting. I love dogs and would love to offer you my services!
