I have 4 years experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities. I received a degree in criminal justice with a minor in applied behavior analysis and social work. Upon graduation I worked for a facility for one year in Denton that housed individuals with these disabilities, many which included self-injurious behaviors. After that, I worked at the Denton State School and supervised three caregivers in a home with eight men. These individuals had severe developmental disabilities. I assisted with feeding, cooking, bathing and all necessary hygiene, mobility within the home and at their daily workshops, and various other needs.
