About Denise

I am a dedicated special educator. I have many years of helping students from age 18m to 8th grade progress with their unique goals. I specialize in teaching students to talk, read, socialize, maintain focus and attention, work in groups, learn adaptive living skills, and play cooperatively. I support students using school curriculums or design and create materials custom to their needs. What to Expect Our first session will allow us to meet, discuss concern's or current challenges, and goals you would like to focus on. This session also allows me to observe and visit with your child. The second session with an assessment to identify positive and weak areas of performance. (Any previous assessments or information other teachers provided will be included. ) I create progress monitor sheets so each step forward is documented for parents assurance.
