About Denise

I'd describe my personality as loving people. I like caring for seniors because I care for my own Mom I'm looking for a job that is a companion to your loved one(s). Be their personal driver when independence of driving is taken away. I started caring for seniors 5 years ago. I realize the importance of needing an extra set of hands. In my spare time, I like to be with my husband, 3 adult sons & sweethearts. Attend theaters, musicals, comedy shows & concerts. Go to lunch/dinner/movies with friends. Taking Mom for rides or puzzling. One thing you should know about me is before retiring I oversaw a Cemetery which was dealing with families during the worst times of there life, because of that I feel I have so much empathy and compassion. My skills include I have taken informative sessions through the COA & completed "Dementia Friends" course. Learned to be kind & patient with elderly & try to be creative in finding an alternative to a challenge.
