About Denise

Retired 'Corporate' mom of 2 young adults and 4 fur-babies looking to help a young family with their kids. I enjoy kids of any age, walking/hiking, being in the outdoors. My kids have graduated from HS and I enjoyed raising them to be great humans! I'd describe my personality as outgoing, kind and compassionate. I like working with kids because I love seeing them learn and enjoy life. I'm looking for a job that keeps me busy and helps a young family. I started working with kids when I babysat from 12 until I went to college. I have 2 boys and they are now adults. I also have a college degree in teaching and taught and tutored for many years before entering corporate life 20+ years ago. In my spare time, I like to hike with my dog, take Zumba classes, line dancing, crafting, reading and spending time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am patient, understanding and firm. My skills include communication, patience and adaptability.
