Denise worked for my family from January through July 2021 (when we moved to the suburbs). It was a gift to have her in our lives. It was the height of Covid, and she spent the day with my two year old before picking up my son from preschool. Meanwhile, it felt like she was running her own preschool in our house! She made a schedule for our daughter, started each day with singing the days of the week in English and Spanish and did countless enriching projects with her. Most importantly, it was clear she was as caring and nurturing towards the kids as she was with her own daughter. Every day she came in with a huge smile and outstretched arms and was just so overjoyed to see them. Any family would be lucky to have Denise in their lives. The kids (and especially my daughter, who was with her all the time) blossomed in her care. And I felt like I grew as a parent. I learned so much from the way she cared for the children.
