Hello, As a parent who has raised two neurodivergent children, and as a DSP/advocate with 40+ years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with complex communication needs - including apraxia of speech and motor planning differences - I'm looking to further develop my skills so I can better serve valued members of our community in accessing and strengthening reliable communication with the aim of assisting the individual to become integrated into his/her community or the least restrictive environment. I specialize in Autism Spectrum; experience with assistance with life skill training, personal care, dressing, incontinence, transfer, meal preparation, feeding, shopping, doctor appointments, light housekeeping, companionship and more. In addition, I have previously served on the AC IHSS AB.
