After 30+ years as travel nurse, critical care nurse, ending with 6 years as a hospice nurse I'm ending my career as an RN , I've put my license on inactive status to have more flexibility and work my own schedule! I've cared for many of my Friends elderly parents and that's where my heart is now. I am now 63 , a recent cancer survivor. but once a nurse always a nurse. my sweet dad had Alzheimer's . I feel I can excel at helping families navigate all the complexities of aging loved ones , while doing what I love best ... hanging out with seniors who have the wisdom that only living this life a long time can have. I work very well with other caregivers , hospice staff, ect and I love taking my friends to doctors visits and not afraid to question and assist doctors for the best care and quality of life. I have excellent assessment skills and spending more time with someone then a quick doctors visit can often point out prevalent symptoms . All the best! Denise
