I am interested in caring for your children. I live in Tavernier and have been caring for children and adults for many years. I taught K-12 in Michigan so I've been working with children most of my adult life. I tutor elementary students as I am certified to teach all subjects K-6. English and Social Studies K-12. I also have a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities. I enjoy cleaning and cooking and am responsible and punctual. I specialize in destination events in Key Largo, Tavernier and Islamorada. Denise was wonderful with our family. She watched our 4 month old and two toddlers. The toddlers requested to stay with Denise the second day rather than come with Mom and Dad which made our day knowing our kids were happy. She’s a gem! 

Denice was wonderful with our children while I was out of town and my husband was working from home. She was incredibly hands-on, attentive, and caring. Every day she took the kids on fun adventures, kept them engaged, and made sure they were safe, happy, and well cared for. She also helped keep the house running smoothly, which was such a gift during a busy week. We felt completely at ease knowing our children were in such capable and loving hands. We would highly recommend her to any family!

Hands down one of the best caregivers I've booked on Care. Denice was truly a gem. We were staying in the area for a wedding, and within minutes of meeting our 2 year old daughter, she was immediately comfortable with Denice despite our daughter going through her shy phase when she meets new people. Traveling with toddlers can be stressful sometimes, but knowing we had Denice watching her allowed us to relax and enjoy wedding festivities. Highly, highly recommend her if you're in the area.

I am kind of a neurotic, over protective mom since I have a career in emergency medicine.  It is very difficult for me to entrust my kids to anyone-even family members-especially on vacation around a pool while they are so little. That said, I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver than Denise. From the moment we met in the interview, she put me at ease and treated my kids as her own. They loved her, and she did a fantastic job with them. My only regret is not packing Denise in my suitcase to bring home with me! If you are fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with her, don’t hesitate-she’s the best. 

Denice was wonderful with our 2.5 year old. He has had a little separation anxiety with sitters lately, but she won him over quickly. 3 days later he is still mentioning her by name! She helped us feel relaxed and confident that he was in good care while we were away in an unfamiliar place. Very appreciative. 

Denice was an incredible babysitter. She stepped in to help us last minute and was incredibly attentive and flexible. She was equally great with our 17 month old and our 11 year old who said she was the best babysitter he ever had. She worked with us for 3 days/nights as we were in town for a wedding - she even adjusted her personal plans to help us longer. I had never left my 17 month old with a babysitter and felt completely confident with Denice. She integrated great with our family as well and was just helpful. I would highly recommend her! We wish we could have brought her home with us!

Very patient and gentle with my father. Could sense what he needed since he could articulate it very well. Her help was very appreciated.

We are so happy to have Denise to watch our 3 young children. I can go out on a date with my husband with a clear head and peace of mind knowing she is with them. She is patient and kind.

I want to thank Denice for helping out with my 3 and 8 months year old daughter. She was wonderful. It was last minute since my other sitter did not work out. She showed up within 20 minutes of our call at the vacation house we where staying. When we came back she was playing in the pool with my daughter. My daughter loved her. You can tell she is hands on with children, not the type that will just sit down and watch them. After she left I went to the bedroom and notice the bed was made. I had left my daughter sleeping so I know the bed was not made. Then noticed that she did all beds in the house, cleaned up the trash and left everything clean. So, thank you again. It is hard to find someone that does way more than what they are asked. I will definitely contact you again during my next trip. By the way, your grand kids are too cute! Take care Denise!
