About Dena

Raised 8 kids, I absolutely adore them. I worked newborn nursery and postpartum for several years as an Obstetrics Technician so I have clinical level skills with newborns. I took child psychology courses when I attended university as I worked toward a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing but had to abandon that path due to an injured back. With that said, I am physically limited to constant bending or lifting so running after a toddler probably would be to much for me for anything more than maybe a date night for mom and dad. I do hold a Bachelor of Science in Business which I obtained from a teaching school and do enjoy teaching children reading and writing skills. Im bilingual English/Spanish however the Spanish isn't as good as it once was but its enough for basic communication and once used more often would likely go back to natural fluency. Im patient, caring, and children are usually attracted to my communication style and typically describe me as fun.
