About Demi

I am passionate about providing care to children and offering support to their families, which is why I became a caregiver. With five years of experience as a certified behavior technician Ive worked with people with autism of various ages from 1-year-old to 47 years old, verbal and nonverbal and varying levels of independence and support needed. I'm very comfortable with challenging behaviors supporting, I'm also very experienced with toilet training, leading to eat with utensils and many other early childhood developmental skill and of course ensuring the safety and well-being of the child in my care. My approach to caregiving includes doing frequent preference assessments to ensure your child is happy and engaged with our activities whether that be outdoors activities or playing games inside. I am CPR and First Aid certified as well as trained is Seizure recognition, have a car, and am comfortable with pets.
