About Demi

Empowering students to reach their academic potential is the cornerstone of my work. Over the past three years, I have cultivated an engaging, supportive, and patient environment where learners feel confident to explore new concepts. I assess individual learning styles by actively listening and observing how students interact with new material. When facing complex topics, I break problems into manageable steps to build momentum and keep motivation high. I believe clear, consistent communication is essential to foster a collaborative relationship between myself, the student, and the parent. Helping a student achieve a significant academic goal remains the most rewarding part of my practice. I am currently available to tutor students at the elementary and middle school levels online, at the library, or in a coffee shop.
