Demetria took care of and tutored our daughter for a full year (she was around 7) and was her camp counselor for two summers. She is excellent with kids -- very fun and creative, genuinely caring and gentle (but still authoritative when needed), dedicated, and a good teacher. She was very attentive to the particular cultural specifics of our family and very encouraging of our daughter in being proud of her identity, as well as her specific interests/hobbies.
