Hello, My name is Deloris and I've been a senior caregiver for the past 20+ years. My past experience has involved taking care of patients with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke, and other health issues including high blood pressure, diabetes, etc. I have experience assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, administering medication and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan. I allow and encourage residents to do as much of their own care as possible. Taking care of the elderly brings joy to my heart and is one of the best things I've done over the past decades. Listening to past stories, hearing their jokes, going outside for small walks, etc. are the little things that I do with my patients that make me love what I do. Besides being a caregiver, I am a wife of 23 years, a mother of 2, a Christian, and owner of 1 small dog and I love to travel with my family.

Deloris was a caregiver for my father for almost a year. She was responsible for bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, exercise, transferring, medication management, meal preparation, housekeeping and laundry. Not only did Deloris care for his physical needs, his emotional well-being was a huge concern of hers as well. She engaged him in conversation and involved him in games and physical activities. Deloris went above and beyond what was expected of her and was always willing to help any way she could. She became part of our family and cared for my dad right until the end. Deloris is very knowledgeable, dependable, trustworthy, loving and would be a wonderful caregiver for your loved one.
