Deloris was a caregiver for my father for almost a year. She was responsible for bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, exercise, transferring, medication management, meal preparation, housekeeping and laundry. Not only did Deloris care for his physical needs, his emotional well-being was a huge concern of hers as well. She engaged him in conversation and involved him in games and physical activities. Deloris went above and beyond what was expected of her and was always willing to help any way she could. She became part of our family and cared for my dad right until the end.
