About Delmeera

Heyy! My name is Delmeera, and I am a recent ECU graduate with tutoring experience working closely with college students, including student-athletes. One of the things I enjoy most about tutoring is helping students realize that struggling with a subject doesn't mean they aren't capable-- instead, I like to think that it just means they haven't found the explanation that works best for them yet! I believe learning is not one-size-fits-all. Every student learns differently, and my goal is to adapt my approach to fit their needs, strengths, & learning style. Through tutoring, I've built meaningful connections with students by creating a comfortable, supportive environment where they feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. Past just understanding the material, I also help students develop the confidence, study habits, & organizational skills they need to succeed independently. I hope to help students improve academically, and ultimately become more confident learners!
