I have been caregiver since after I graduated high school. I helped my mom take care of my grandparents and soon I got a job in assisted living/ memory care senior facility. I worked there for about 4 years and then moved onto a day program for special needs adults where I would do activities with them and help work with them to achieve personal goals in a class setting. After 4 years the program was closed due to COVID so I moved onto working in the home facility's that housed special needs adults. I am still currently working in a home facility and I have experience with personal care, medication assistance, preparing meals and feeding.
