About Delia

I fi rst met Delia when she started cleaning my parents’ home approximately 10 years ago. They strongly recommended both her high quality work and her warm and responsive nature. Soon after that she began cleaning my family’s home as well as the home of some of our closest friends. Delia’s work is consistently thorough and precise. She attends to so many details of our home and is always happy to take on additional tasks as needed. I trust her completely with our family’s most personal space. After having worked with Delia for many years, my husband and I were fortunate enough to welcome a baby girl. Delia has two young children of her own and I had observed how lovingly she cared for them over the years. As such, I asked her if she would be able to take care of my daughter starting at 4 months old when I returned to work. Delia took on this new role as a complete natural, instantly bonding with my daughter and providing her with incredibly loving care. Delia has taken responsibility for every aspect of day-to-day life for my daughter from infancy through toddlerhood. She lovingly prepared bottles, snacks, and meals. She was able to get my daughter to nap better than I was ever able to on my own. She continually engaged my daughter in joyful activities including reading, singing, and imaginative play, as well as nature walks outside and trips to the park. Delia’s strong emphasis on speaking to my daughter in both English and Spanish has sparked an emerging bilingualism that will continue to grow in the years ahead. My daughter lit up every day to see Delia walk through the door. They have developed a special bond that I know will continue for years to come. Our daughter is now of preschool age and has just started school, so I would be delighted to help Delia fi nd her next family, household, or community. Delia would be a wonderful and loving asset in any or all of these capacities to anyone who is lucky enough to cross her path.
