About Delaney

Hello, my name is Delaney. I have a 10-year-old daughter and am currently finishing up the third year of my PhD in Higher, Adult, & Lifelong Education at Michigan State University. I have an associate's degree and bachelor's degree in English as well as a masters of education in Higher Education Administration and Policy. I am a graduate student researcher and former writing center director. I have spent many years caring for my own daughter, nieces, and nephews, and also spent my younger years as a nanny for several families. In my spare time, I like to enjoy the outdoors through hiking, biking, and swimming. I am also an amateur photographer and enjoy any and all types of arts and crafts. I am skilled in all aspects of childcare from keeping a daily routine and a tidy house to offering social-emotional support and opportunities for learning and engagement. I am seeking caregiving employment during the summer that would accommodate my daughter accompanying me.
