About Delaney

I'm Delaney, a college student home for the summer and looking to help serve my community by offering senior care. I don't have formal training experience so I wouldn't be a good match for extensive needs. However I have lived with my grandparents for the last nine years so I have familiarity with some needs that come with aging. As they have gotten older my mom now provides most of their care, working with mobility issues and wheelchair usage, as well as dementia. I help when I am home and provide respite care for my mom. I see first hand how helpful that can be and want to help provide that for others this summer. I have done childcare in camps and as a nanny for the past four years, which has taught me a lot about working with people. I have experience doing light housework, cooking, and transportation for the family I worked for last summer. I am also First Aid and CPR certified as of last year. Looking forward to connecting with a family and elder for care this summer!
