Hi! My name is Delaney. I am a loving, reliable, engaging, fun, responsible, creative, compassionate nanny. I am 26 years old with 14 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I have experience as a nanny, tutor, mother's helper, and most recently an assistant preschool/elementary school teacher in Andalusia, Spain.(I'm very proficient in Spanish!) Additionally, I graduated from UCLA in 2021 and worked at UCLA's Early Care and Education Center. My responsibilities have ranged from newborn care to bath time, as well as imaginary play, tummy time, going to the park, prepping dinner, light housework, school pickup, etc. My goal is to create an environment in which children feel safe, heard, loved and parents feel as though their children are with someone who cares for them as their own. Our former nanny retired a month before we moved, so we had a gap in child care. Leading up to that time was stressful for two working parents, but we found Delaney and couldn’t have been more lucky! She cared for our two-year-old full time for that month before our move… Delaney was dependable, punctual, kind and patient. She and our daughter formed a precious bond and I could quickly see how safe, happy and engaged our toddler was with her. She helped out with our 5 year old after her camp day ended too. Both our girls were sad to leave Delaney when it was time for our move. She’s one of a kind and any family would be fortunate to work with her.
