Ever since I could remember, I have always had a love for children. My family would always joke with me because it seemed like I always had somebody's child with me. Growing up, I often was made to watch my younger cousins and little brother so eventually I developed a knack when it came to working with kids. I was especially good at getting children who were shy to open up. I attended a daycare from 5 years old until I was 12. Then at 13, I was offered a job at the daycare I used to attend helping out the owner. I got to work with children ranging in ages from 3 months to 12 years old. I worked there until I turned 15. Then my senior year of high school I joined the Child Guidance program. It was an amazing experience to get to teach preschoolers. They ranged in age from 4-5 years old. I worked with both groups for 7 months and volunteered over 30 hours at Northampton Elementary school working with 5th grade students.
