About Dejahnae

Hi families! My name is Dejahnae, and caring for children has been a big part of my life for almost 6 years. I got started back in high school, where I took Child Development classes and earned my 90-hour preschool certificate. That's where I first discovered how much I love helping little ones learn and grow. I began my first nanny position in 2020, when schools and daycares were closed and many parents were working from home. Since then, l've worked mostly with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, creating routines that keep them happy, safe, and engaged. I've also had the privilege of caring for children with autism and epilepsy, which has given me extra patience and the ability to adapt care to each child's unique needs. I'm relocating to the Chicago area this November and am hoping to find a wonderful family to work with starting in January or February . I bring warmth, reliability, and consistency, and I truly enjoy building lasting connections with the families I support.
