About Deirdre

My name is Deirdre and I'm married with three children ages 16, 15 and 9. My husband and I moved to NC in 2005 and the original plan was for me to go back to work when all of the kids were in school full-time. My children attend a School that does not use public transportation. My older children are involved in travel volleyball, travel softball and Girl Scouts and my youngest plays soccer and is also in Cub Scouts. I want to work to help contribute to all of our activities, but our activities prevent me from being able to work full-time. I've always been a dog-lover and have had a fur baby for practically my whole life. We currently have a 5-year-old shelter doggie named Halo who is approximately 40 pounds. She is not a barker, or a fan of riding in cars (who knew that even existed?) but she will eat out of the trash if you turn your back for a minute!
