About Deirdre

Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in English, with a Concentration in Secondary Education. I enjoyed a long career in both Retail Banking and Banking Operations before transitioning to a Career in Information Technology and Network Systems Administration. When my wonderful husband of 27 years and counting, was transferred by his employer to North Carolina, I was fortunate to become a Stay-At-Home Mum to our three amazing children. Our eldest graduated University last year and is currently living her best life in Boston. Our younger daughter is about to begin her Senior year at a university in Cambridge. Our "baby" is now 16 and he'll be a Junior when school starts up again at the end of July. I have over seven years experience as the sole care taker for my father, who sadly passed from Alzheimer's disease in 2023. Additionally, I have seven years experience as a part-time Nanny/Mother's Assistant for a family with six sons that homeschooled all of their children.
