About Deirdre

Hi! I am a patient and enthusiastic sitter with over 7 years of experience working with children. I have experience with children from infancy through middle school, and have worked with children with special needs (ASD, developmental delay, physical disabilities). I am a college senior studying Elementary Education, and in the fall I am excited to begin working in a classroom as a student teacher! Now that the semester is over, I have full time availability for sitting and nannying. I love learning about children's unique interests and encouraging them! My favorite activities with children include reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and games! I am always careful about health and safety, and especially so during this pandemic. I make sure to practice social distancing, hand washing, and wearing a mask. In addition to childcare, I can help with tutoring, light housework, and pet care. I do not drive, but I live right by and can easily reach anywhere in the metro Boston area.
