About Deirdre
Other than raising my two grown children - one of whom is adopted and required learning special parenting skills - my experience with children and teens comes from time working at a private school near Baltimore, here in Santa Fe as a substitute teacher, volunteering at our Buddhist center's children's program and family camp, and running the Nature Adventure program at my kids' charter school. I have 6 months of Waldorf teacher training too. I've also had rescue dogs for 35 years and currently have 2 rescued horses and 2 donkeys in addition to our 3 pups.
