About Deidra

We hired Deidra as a 24-hour live-in caregiver to help with my mom in the last 6 months of her life. But Deidra is so much more than a caregiver. I prayed for someone like her to come into our lives. In terms of taking care of my mom, Deidra managed her meds, changed her, provided 24-hour loving companion care, cooked delicious meals based on my mom's changing needs, helped us manage supplies, and effectively communicated with our nurse and other hospice professionals. She did everything! AND Deidra quickly became integrated into our family. Because my mom lived here with me and my 9 year old son, Deidra became part of our daily flow. When she could, she helped me with my son; she's a helped so much with our dog, Jack; she helped me around the house- including the plants in our patio garden. Deidra is very trustworthy, loving and experienced. She is also very sensitive to finding a balance and flow with families - which is so very hard especially during COVID.
