I could not have done it without Defense!My mom had a stroke in December last year,I live in another state, I am an only child, and my mom is single. My mom's stroke was the first health scare my mom and I had ever really had to deal with. Maneuvering through the
"what do we do now" instances that are never-ending in a situation like this, really turns your world upside down. Because I was so far away I knew I needed to get my mom help fast. A friend of mine recommended care.com that’s where I met Defense , We arranged for an in person meeting and she showed up on time, the  first time meeting her I  really liked her she was very sweet , good sense of humor and very passionate about her job and after the meeting I knew she was the right person for  my mom and am so very grateful  to her for taking care of my with her whole heart. She always communicated with me, always on time,took my mom to Doctor’s appointment when I couldn’t go.My mom used to refer to her as her “Angel “.  I wanted my mom to be closer to me and  I brought her with me to where I stay , till today she always reaches out to know how my mom is doing, she’s such a sweetheart,I would 100% recommend her to everyone who needs someone to take care of their loved one.

Defence was a breath of fresh air for my wife and me. She accepted to work for us at short notice and took a long commute to get to our house. She was nice, friendly, competent, and easy to work with. She was able to complete all the tasks at hand and was a great companion to my wife who can be a little difficult to take care of. It also helps that she is a really good cook and made 3-day's worth of dinner for us before she left. I highly recommend her for any senior care jobs.

I really hate to leave a bad review.  Defence seemed lovely.  It seems she has too much on her plate to accept a job and attend college.  I was very patient with her slow responses.  She rescheduled telephone interview and in-person interview.   She accepted our position and then declined the day before she was supposed to start.  She had almost a week to give up notice. This really put me in a position, as I have no one to fill the three days she was supposed to work.  Hire with caution. Sorry Defence, this was very unprofessional.

Look no further! You have found your caregiver. Defence was an absolute angel taking care of our 90 year old father after hip replacement surgery. She is knowledgeable, organized, so kind and we never worried about Dad with her here. She kept him on a tight schedule with everything he had to do for his post surgery routine: exercises, blood clot prevention, pneumonia prevention and several other details she masterfully handled daily. She made him healthy meals, made him drink his fluids, etc. Even when he would object to something she needed to do (clipping his toenails for instance),  she would just keep smiling and gently forging ahead until the task was complete. At first Dad was hesitant to have a caregiver he didn't know, but quickly developed a trusting relationship with her. We were all sad to see her go! The other hip will be replaced this summer and we will of course be calling on Defense again!

Defence is friendly, professional and good at her job. She is a dedicated worker who goes above and beyond to ensure that all her clients are comfortable.

Defence has done an excellent job for me. She is punctual, hardworking and trustworthy. I feel lucky to have found her to assist me in my home as I recuperate from a fall. I would gladly recommend her to me clients.
