Hi I moved here a few years ago from New Jersey to be closer to my family. I spent the last 15 years working for a non profit agency that provides residential support to seniors and individuals with intellectual disabilities. I started out as a direct care worker and was promoted to management 12 years ago. My favorite part of my job was interacting with my clients and am looking forward to doing that again. I LOVED being able to directly have a positive affect on their quality of life and encouraging them to safely ( through structured supports) experience the dignity of risk to reach their full potential. I have lots of experience with providing direct daily care (ADL's), behavior supports, medical care and therapeutic recreational activities. I am looking to work Monday, Tuesday and Fridays before 1 p (I have another caregiving job week day afternoons) but I am willing to try to be flexible with my schedule and accommodate any special requests.
