Hi My name is Deena & I moved to Florida a little more than a year ago to be closer to my family. I spent 20 yrs working for a nonprofit agency caring for adults with physical & cognitive impairments in the community living arrangements department(both as direct care & management). I then worked for 5yrs independently supporting clients who have cognitive impairments (such as dementia). My favorite part of my job is interacting with my clients. I LOVE being able to directly have a positive effect on their quality of life & encouraging them to safely ( through structured supports) experience the dignity of risk to maximize their independence. I have lots of experience with providing direct daily care, behavior/memory supports, medical care( including medication administration & doctor's appointments) & recreational activities. I am looking to work primarily Monday to Friday until 6 p.m. but I will try be flexible with my schedule & accommodate any special requests with advance notice.
