About Deena

Hi! I'm Deena. I have been a nanny with a local family for the past 4. 5 years. I began working with them when their twin sons were 6 and daughter was 10 months old. She is headed to kindergarten in September, so I am looking for a position with a new family. Prior to my current position, I was a preschool teacher for seven years. Nurturing and teaching children has been my life for the past two and a half decades, as I also have four kids of my own. I am certified in first aid and CPR through the Red Cross. One of my favorite aspects of working with children is the ability to watch them as their personalities grow and develop; I truly appreciate the impact that I as a childcare worker can have on a child's life. I have experience caring for seniors, including light housekeeping, errand running, help with hygiene and daily tasks, and companionship duties. I believe that although our bodies age, our minds can stay as young as we let them, and I approach my caregiving in this way.
