About Declan

I believe that everyone has the ability to succeed. I'm a special education teacher of 10+ years with experience teaching 7th-12th grade math and science. I've taught a range of students, which gives me a broader perspective on student needs. I have supported some of our most struggling students so that they could reach their goals. In the same class, I also worked with the valedictorian and salutatorian on pushing them beyond the curriculum. I have prior paid and unpaid experience tutoring through private clients. I also provide test prep for the SAT, ACT, and SHSAT (for NYC families). In addition, I've worked previous summers as a camp Director and a summer school teacher.
