About Debra

I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing, and playful. I like working with kids because they are as curious as I am! I'm looking for a job that allows for me to have a schedule that fits my needs. I am a care giver for my father who is at the end of life stage. I started working with kids when I volunteered for VBS. The majority of my tutoring has been with adult learners but I enjoy the energy kids bring. In my spare time, I like to do CrossFit, go to church, & spend time with people I love. One thing you should know about me is that I was an only child! We learn to make our own fun. My skills include 9. 5 years of teaching private lessons to English learners (listening & patience), developmental counseling skills (working through a crisis), and I am great at motivating people (coaching skills).
