About Debra

Since the beginning of my career, I have obtained a Dual Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Education, have earned a Master's degree in Literacy Strategies and Instruction, have earned tenure in two separate NY school districts, have been trained in Reading First through the NYS Reading Academy, and have successfully implemented a wide variety of academic programs and strategies within my classroom over a period of more than 20 years. I have taught everything from Pre-K to fifth grade. I am confident that with my passion for continued education, my extensive professional background, and my strong desire to make a positive impact on others, that I can make a significant contribution to your family. I love children and animals, alike, have great knowledge of how to prepare any child for their years in school, and will be able to provide your child/children with a supportive, nurturing, and positive environment where they will thrive.
