About Debra

I've had 28 years caring for children and am passionate about fostering their growth and development. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules, and I communicate regularly with parents about their child's day. I'm creative and imaginative, and I love playing games with children that are both fun and educational. I'm also skilled at supervising children while swimming. I hold a graduate degree and am CPR-trained. I'm happy to help with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, carpooling, and travel. As a person, I'm friendly and approachable, full of life, and love making the most of each day. I really cherish people and love being in nature. I also homeschool my children and taught them to love learning. And, I have been a social worker for several years in Chicago serving children. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your family!
