Debra helped to care for my father during the last few months of his life at a time when he needed 24 hour care and was in and out of the hospital. Debra was reliable, flexible, compassionate and you can tell that she has many years of experience in providing care. I'm grateful for the support and care that Debra provided for my father and highly recommend her for other caregiving roles. 

Debra was an exceptional caregiver for my Father & Mother for 6 months in Boca Raton. She handled all their doctor appts and was very organized at keeping medical notes. She was also wonderful at helping my father with his health problems and keep a strict diet for his diabetes. She was kind, supportive and a great friend to them. She was very reliable and always there in an emergency. She made their birthday's special and kept in touch via text. with any concerns. They probably had the best 6 months they've ever had with Debra and our family recommends her highly to anyone.

Ms. Debra has been a warm blessing to our family.  She has been caring for Mom and loves the work she does.  From making wonderful meals to personal care needs, walks with Mom and encouraging Mom, who has Alzheimers.  We could not be more thankful for Ms. Debra's care and big heart in all she does!

Debra is a caring, giving, and responsible care giver. Her dedication to my dad brought him happiness every day !  She is always prepared to handle any situation that occurs with her patients . I highly recommend Debra .

No words could ever cover what Debra did for our mom in her last few years of life. Debbie was my mother’s everything. She cooked special meals for her, kept her home spotless, managed her medication, attended to her hygiene especially toward the end of her life when she was bedridden, she combed her hair and trimmed her nails but most of all Debbie gave my mom her loving heart. She never lost her patience (believe me when I say there were plenty of opportunities to do so) she just attended to her every wish. In addition to all the duties that Debbie did for mom she also helped manage the other caregivers and made sure that protocols were followed and everyone was on the same page when it came to the care of our mother. Debbie also was a source of strength and compassion for me and my siblings always keeping us abreast of any changes or needs my mom had. Debbie has become a part of our family now. I will never be able to repay her or say enough about her beautiful heart and how she loved my mom until her last breath. Debbie is an angel put here on earth. 

My dad has early dementia and Debra knew exactly how to take care of him . She has great energy and a wonderful caring personality !

I recently hired Debra to help with my stroke victim father while I was out of town for a few days.  I couldn't have been more happy with her care.  She went out of her way to accommodate his every need and also jumped right in to helping him with his big writing project.  He was so pleased.  He has asked her to come back - a first for him!  It is obvious she genuinely cares about the people she serves.  I would definitely hire her again.

Debra was of tremendous help with my two parents who recently moved to FL and needed immediate assistance. She was extremely reliable, and my parents trusted her with their care. Debra is very professional, took them to doctor appointments, and really cared about them. We would hire Debra again, and highly recommend her.

Debra is a contentious caregiver who goes above and beyond the expected to provide excellent care to her clients. Her years as a CNA is apparent and she is very knowledgeable, but she is willing to research if something new comes up. Debra is reliable and kind and a pleasure to know.

Debra worked for my family for many months. During that time she showed poor tolerance for some of the challenges that caring for an individual with dementia can bring. She was impatient with my loved one and complained about my loved one's typical dementia-related behaviors. She made unkind comments to me about my loved one (i.e., "She walks like a turtle!"). While Debra managed to keep my loved one safe, she did not make her feel cared for and showed poor regard for her. She made dangerous medical decisions during critical moments (i.e., putting a metal spoon in my loved one's mouth who was having a seizure). Debra indicated she was in nursing school to become a hospice nurse but her lack of medical knowledge indicated this was likely not the case. We did not find her to be a good team player. I would hesitate in hiring her if you have a loved one with any behavioral or medical challenges.

Debra was a 6 month member of a team of women who provided 24x7 care for my 89 year old father who passed away 11/4/2012. He was weakened by COPD, cancer and mild dementia, needing assistance with all basic life functions. She worked both overnight and day shifts, providing professional and tender care until the very end. She is, as noted, a team player but also very capable as an independent, skilled and conscientious caregiver. Should we need this type of assistance in the future she'd be at the top of our call list.

I met Debra on October 25, 2010 and she totally impressed me and endeared herself to me.  The moment I met her, I was certain she would be a perfect companion for my mother.  She will begin caring for my mother on November 11, 2010, and I am sure their friendship will be a strong one.  She is thorough, caring, friendly and capable.  I will leave Florida knowing my mother is in good hands.

I highly recommend Debra D. She provided excellent care for my father who became incompetent due to Alzheimer's, bedridden, and incontinent. She went above and beyond her duties for which I am eternally grateful. Debra has a cheerful personality with unending patience which she demonstrated in the care of my father who had a difficult personality. She has invaluable experience in caring for senior patients. My father had a rapid decline in his health and so when Debra started there was nothing in the home to help with his care because my Mom always said she did not need anything. When Debra started she helped my Mom and my family get hold of the situation. Because of her knowledge of in home patient care she was able to assess the situation and arrange for equipment, a hospital bed, hospital table, and a wheelchair delivered to the home. She knew what my Dad needed even before we did. My Mom was overwhelmed with how to care for my father and what to do and Debra helped guide her and the family to quickly solve problems. She provided accurate assessments of our father's medical condition, medical problems, and the type of doctor that my father needed. This was extremely valuable to my sister and I who live far away in different states and work full time. My father was very combative but Debra's compassionate upbeat optimistic personality was always able to calm him down. Her nursing care was excellent for my father changing him, bathing him, shaving him, managing his medications, and preparing and feeding him pureed food. She brought her own mini food processor to their home to be able to puree his food so he could eat. Debra arranged for transportation to doctors offices, the hospital, and other facilities as needed. She also became a terrific companion to my mother to help her through this difficult time. She was in constant phone contact with me to tell me how he was doing and what he needed and she would always take my phone calls even after hours. She came in early and stayed late. Debra did whatever was needed to care for my father while also consoling my mother. She knew how to manage his manage his medications and helped us find hospice care when that time came so he could stay at home. She has invaluable experience with hospice and hospice patients and she stays with her patient till the end providing loving care. She was a saint in his care, through his death and aftercare for my mom in a difficult time. My family cannot say enough positive comments about Debra D., she is an amazing caregiver.
