I will not be available until the first week in December. I have made a previous commitment. Thank you. I am a young at heart grandmother. I have three children and six grandchildren. My experience caring for children has spanned a lifetime. Due to downsizing of the company I worked at, I found myself unemployed after 13 years. In the search for a new position I was asked "What do you like to do?" "Bake cookies and play Candyland with my grandchildren" would have been my honest answer. Of course I didn't respond with that answer, but after being asked the same question many times I realized I was applying to positions I didn't want. I am interested in a steady day-time position and also occasional evening out positions. In preparation for a change in career, I have obtained a NY State Teaching Assistant Certificate. This certificate required a fingerprint check.
