About Debra

I have 10 years home child care experience, Early Childhood Education Classes and 12 years experience as a Nanny. I believe that the care of children is the most important thing we can do in life. There is no greater joy than knowing that you have instilled in a child the quest for knowledge, the concept of a conscience; right from wrong and the openness of heart to make and keep good friends. I believe that all children should learn from play by a guiding hand that can help them to ask questions, see their environment from a new perspective and that learning can be and should be fun. I believe in learning/teaching through music, songs, dance, reading books, outings to interesting places, counting the things in the world around us, and that the experiences of everyday life can be turned into a learning moment. I believe that a Teachers and parents can work hand in hand to raise a loving well adjusted child; communication and respect for each other is the key.
