About Debra

I'd describe my personality as Positive, Energetic, Go-Getter. I like caring for seniors because they have great stories and are appreciated of the care you provide. I'm looking for a job that allows flexibility, creativity, socialization, and personal assistant type duties (cooking, household chores, assisting with personal finances, etc.). I started caring for seniors when I was a teenager. At 16, I became a CNA and worked in group homes for disabled adults. In my spare time, I like to travel, spend time with my son and dogs, hike, cook, watch football, and do Tai Chi. One thing you should know about me is I am a very approachable person that has experience with the Dementia population. I always wanted to be an activity director in a nursing home. My skills include activity planning, assisting with cooking, and developing good relationships.
