Debbie was truly a blessing in disguise. Caring for my father, who had dementia and was gradually losing his ability to speak English, was incredibly challenging—especially because it’s so rare to find someone who speaks Greek. I was overwhelmed with gratitude when I found Debbie. Not only is she highly experienced in caring for patients like my father, but she could also speak to him in his native language, which brought him so much comfort. She is calm, compassionate, and patient, even during the most difficult moments. Debbie was always early, consistently professional, and kept detailed notes to keep me informed about my dad’s day—what he ate, how well he slept, and even the smallest changes in his behavior. I’ll never forget the time she calmly stopped him from putting bleach in his coffee—her attentiveness likely saved his life. My father was a fiercely independent and strong-willed man, and Debbie treated him with the dignity and respect he deserved. She gave our entire family peace of mind, and for that, we will always be grateful.
