I have experience caring for my nephew who was diagnosed as a full blown diabetic at 2. I cared for him constantly monitoring his sugar and making sure he ate properly. He is now 20 years old and able to control his daily insulin shots on his own. I also have a nephew with Down Syndrome. He is pure joy and I am the only person they would leave him with for many years. He has also grown up and is now 17 but, he is about 4 years old mentally. I have a lot of compassion for these children and a great admiration for their courage. Worked at the Arbor School for children with disabilities. Experience as a physical therapy aide.
